Hardie took over the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce in March 2015 after more than 30 years in the newspaper business. He worked with local leaders to help establish a Jackson County Economic Development Committee, organized a pop-up retail program with the Black River Falls Downtown Association, and owns/operates Brambleberry Country Inn and Winery. Hardie has also served on various regional boards, including the Tomah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Village People in West Salem, the Greater La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce, the La Crosse Area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and served as president of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. The 7 Rivers Alliance team is thrilled to work with him and have him lead this organization.

Hayley is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, pursuing a degree in Marketing and a minor in Art. Hayley has a passion for printmaking and graphic design. For the past year, she has held the position as the Marking Assistant for the Office of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. She is thrilled to be apart of The 7 Rivers Alliance team and hopes to bring her talents to the organization as well as learn and grow from this experience.

Anna is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, pursuing a degree in Marking with a minor in Graphic Design. She is a full-time student as well as the President of American Marketing Association.  She is excited to be apart of The 7 Rivers Alliance team and hopes to learn and grow from this internship so she can apply what she has learned to future jobs.

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff and JJJeff Scheel & JJ Zhang

Jeff Scheel has over 30 years of human resource management experience in the public and private sector. He has also served as a consultant to management, bringing HR solutions to over 175 companies in the tri-state area. 7 Rivers alliance is very lucky to have someone with his experience and his passion for the community. Jeffs assistant, JJ Zhang, is a student at Western Technical College studying business. The two of them are working together to bring the 7 Rivers Alliance INSPIRE program to the region.
