Three regional residents have been named to the 7 Rivers Alliance board of directors.

Robert Halfmann, human resources manager for ZF TRW in Winona and Galesville; Mary Eiler Radl, key account manager for Alliant Energy in Tomah and Robert Stanford, president of Western Technical College have all joined the 7 Rivers board.

“I am pleased to have these three distinguished regional leaders join our board,” said Michael Richards, 7 Rivers Alliance president.  “Their experience will add a great perspective to the board.”

Halfmann has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and has been with ZF TRW for the past two years. Halfmann said he is passionate about connecting people with careers and wants to improve the collaboration between high schools, technical colleges, universities, employers and communities.

Eiler Radl has been with Alliant for more than 25 years. She said she has a sincere interest in economic development and understands how economic development organizations contribute to the growth and long-term economic health of a community of the region.

Stanford was the vice president of academic affairs at Western before being named president this year.  Stanford says he wants to contribute strongly to the goal of helping our region build a skilled and talented workforce to ensure regional prosperity.

All three will serve three-year terms.

The 7 Rivers Alliance is the economic development membership organization for the Upper Mississippi Region. The Alliance fosters collaboration in Southwest Wisconsin, Southeast Minnesota, and Northeast Iowa.
