Save time and money and take the headache and uncertainty out of your site search with a Minnesota Shovel-Ready Certified Site. DEED works closely with communities and property owners to certify that the most time-consuming legal, technical and regulatory aspects of sustainable development specific commercial and industrial sites are already complete. Sites certified under our Shovel-Ready program have had all of the planning, zoning, surveys, title work, environmental studies, soils analysis and public infrastructure engineering completed prior to the site being offered for sale.

The 7 Rivers Alliance Golden Shovel Ready Sites
The 7 Rivers Alliance Golden Shovel Ready Site designation was developed for sites throughout the region that are ready for development, both publicly owned and privately owned. The designation is not meant to replace or compete with the state Certified Sites Programs. Rather, this program provides a scaled down alternative for smaller sites or those that cannot meet the criteria of the State program. To learn more click here.
