Chris Hardie, CEO

Hardie took over the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce in March 2015 after more than 30 years in the newspaper business. He worked with local leaders to help establish a Jackson County Economic Development Committee, organized a pop-up retail program with the Black River Falls Downtown Association, and owns/operates Brambleberry Country Inn and Winery. Hardie has also served on various regional boards, including the Tomah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Village People in West Salem, the Greater La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce, the La Crosse Area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and served as president of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. The 7 Rivers Alliance team is thrilled to work with him and have him lead this organization.

Cameron Knight, Marketing and Events Intern

Cameron is a senior at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse studying Marketing. He is highly interested in market analytics and how they could be used to support data-driven decisions. Through finding data in the 7 Rivers Alliance coverage, Cameron hopes to identify some key drivers that could stimulate economic growth and development. He is very excited to be joining the 7 Rivers Alliance Team.

Raghad is pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis at Viterbo University, and is really looking forward her time here in La Crosse and 7 Rivers Alliance!

Jeff Scheel, Inspire Coordinator

Jeff Scheel has over 30 years of human resource management experience in the public and private sector. He has also served as a consultant to management, bringing HR solutions to over 175 companies in the tri-state area. 7 Rivers alliance is very lucky to have someone with his experience and his passion for the community. Jeffs assistant, JJ Zhang, is a student at Western Technical College studying business. The two of them are working together to bring the 7 Rivers Alliance INSPIRE program to the region.
